With ten years global experience, Julia firmly believes that every brand is unique. Her strategically driven ideas push boundaries. Her forward thinking communication ensures effective design and her art direction, illustration and creative skills are second to none.

Julia began her design career at Norwich University College of the Arts, UK. Graduating with
a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, Julia had the opportunity to attend internships at various design agencies, followed by full time employment in London. Gaining a vast amount of experience in branding for a diverse range of businesses, from fashion houses, charities, small boutique businesses to national corporate companies within the recruitment, medical and banking industries. This led her to the role of Lead Designer for HSBC Private Bank for the Asia-Pacific region where she worked through two global rebrands.

Upon relocating to Australia, Julia started working as a freelance designer with corporate clients in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. She also produced exhibitions as an artist/maker in Melbourne, Adelaide and Chicago. Julia then had the opportunity to work with
a strategic branding agency in Adelaide where she gained valuable insight into the Australian corporate market.

Having spent the first 12 years of her life in Hong Kong, relocating to the UK and now residing in Australia, Julia's work is strongly influenced by her culturally diverse background, often infused with Eastern and Western cultures.

In her spare time Julia explores her creativity through a diverse range of media: illustration, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery and dressmaking to name but a few. She firmly believes
there is creativity within all of us, and thrives on the contacts and connections she has made throughout her journey.

Living by Stefan Sagmeister's “Can you touch someone’s heart with design?”, Julia takes enormous pleasure in learning and growing as a designer and an artist.
